Soil, Glorious Soil!

We are grateful to everyone who helped us move the soil from the skids into the garden beds this weekend.

Earlier this month, we received 3 pallets of soil (240 Bags!) and 1 pallet of mulch from Scotts for our community garden. While Rev. Graham was convinced that we would have lots leftover, the bags were just the right amount to fill our six raised garden beds.

The weather still isn’t ideal for planting, so the garden team will be meeting in the coming weeks to begin some seedlings at home and plan out how we will plant the remaining seeds in May.
