Thy Kingdom Come

We invite you to participate in 'Thy Kingdom Come', a 10-day celebration of intentional prayer from May 14th to 24th. This special celebration will feature intentional prayer and various activities throughout Ascensiontide. Prayer journals will be provided to guide your reflection.
Thursday, May 14 – Feast of the Ascension
Holy Eucharist – 7:00 pm
Join with fellow Anglicans from across the Scarborough Deanery as we celebrate the feast of the Ascension together and begin our time of preparation for the coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost (May 24th).
Worship begins at 7pm with light refreshments to follow.
Friday May 15th
Morning Prayer - 8:30 am
Community Prayer Walk - 9:00 am
Join with Rev. Graham as he walks the community, beginning at St. Dunstan’s and stopping at various churches throughout our community. Please note that this walk will be around 10km.
Saturday May 16th
Prayer Meeting – 10:00 am
Join together for an hour of prayer for our various needs: personal, parish, neighbourhood, the world!
Sunday, May 17th – Seventh Sunday of Easter
Holy Eucharist with Anointing and Blessing of Stained Glass Window – 8:30 am and 10:30 am
Join us for our service of Healing and Anointing as we continue to pray intentionally for the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. Additionally, we will be celebrating the restoration of our Stained Glass Window, with a special prayer of blessing at both services and the artist joining us at 10:30 am.
Tuesday, May 19th
Morning Prayer – 8:30 am
Community Prayer Walk- 12:00 pm
Join Rev. Graham in a shorter walk throughout our immediate community (Highland Creek Village and environs), keeping our eyes and hearts open to the Holy Spirit and praying for our neighbours.
Wednesday, May 20th
Holy Eucharist – 10:15 am
Bible Study - 11:00 am
Community Prayer Walk - 12:30 pm (similar length to Tuesday)
Kids/Youth Prayer Event - 6:30 pm
Children and Youth are invited for Pizza dinner and an exploration of different Prayer stations.

With Vienna Bombardieri (poet), Adele Koehnke (poet/storyteller), Catherine Reidt (pianist). Coffee, Tea and Treats available for $2.00

Come and celebrate the global nature of the Church, as members of our parish community participate in worship in their native languages. Following the service you are invited to bring your favourite national treat or dish to share with congregation in a multi-cultural potluck!
