Mid-Summer Harvest

Today was a banner day for our community garden team, with our first massive harvest of cucumbers (4 bags!), tomatoes (2 bags!), beans (2 bags!), okra (1 bag!), and even more radishes.

We are grateful to all the volunteers who help tend the garden and harvest the fruits for SCHC Foodbank. There is still lots of time left for more growth, but it is amazing to see the impact fresh vegetables can have for the clients of the foodbank.
