"The Raging Butanes" our wonderful dance band for the evening kept the dancing going long into the night.
On Sunday May 24 we gathering for a wonderful service of worship to give thanks to God for our past, to pray for our future and to dedicate a new set of kneeler cushions for the altar rail. What follows is a brief snapshot of that happy day.
Five years in the making, a dedicated team of stitchers within the parish hand crafted the new kneeler cushions.
Our friends Emily and Nancy, native Canadians living in York Landing in northern Manitoba, joined us for our celebrations.
Our former bishop, now retired, the Rt. Rev Michael Bedford-Jones was the homilist and celebrant for the worship service.
What's a parish party without food? Everyone enjoyed the spread of sandwiches, sweets and vegetables, and continued sharing their stories of joy.
Even the kitchen help enjoyed themselves. (Thank you for all your hard work!)
